ABOUT CHEF MAGGIE

Chef Maggie was born and raised in Toronto, Maggie studied at the University of Toronto before graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Chef Maggie cooked for the Queen of England while training as a chef at the Connaught Hotel in London, England and for thousands of others at her own restaurants and cooking studio in Toronto. She is an alumnus of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America and was formerly a National Spokesperson for Kraft Canada. She has a unique edge as both a food and marketing expert and real world chef. Her outgoing personality and clever wit make her a natural fit for television where she is a returning judge on season two of Food Network Canada’s Donut Showdown, which premiered as the number 1 hit show in the US on the Cooking Channel. You may also recognize Chef Maggie from her two seasons as culinary mentor on the Food Network’s hit series Recipe to Riches. Chef Maggie also contributes weekly on the Mike Chalut morning show on Edmonton’s The Boom 91.1 FM as on-air “history of ingredient” expert every Foodie Friday. Maggie is passionate about reviving grand old traditions with a modern flair. Chef Maggie currently lives in Markham with her husband and two son’s.
